EduMic is a classroom hearing solution that transmits wirelessly the teacher’s voice to help children hear over noise, reverberation and distance in the classroom. Oticon’s pediatric hearing aids and EduMic work together to maximize children’s speech understanding for language development, learning and socializing opportunities. The EduMic has a Direct Audio Input (DAI) socket where you are not only able to use Oticon's Amigo R2 FM Receiver it also means that you can plug in other manufacturers Direct Audio Input Receivers. For example Phonak's Roger X and use their Phonaks transmitting microphones. It can be worn clipped on or with the lantyard (supplied). There is also an 3.5mm socket to transmit audio from other devices. EduMic is compatible with Oticon Opn Play™, Xceed Play, Opn, Opn S, Xceed and Siya hearing aids. It is also compatible with NHS Oticon Engage hearing aids and Oticon Ponto 4 BAHA
