Phonak, a brand of Swiss company Sonova, is not only the world's largest designer and manufacturer of hearing aids but also Radio Aids. Their Radio Aids come under their wide-ranging Wireless Communications Products and split into two areas - Education and Work-Life. The product range is based on their Roger™ digital standard to bridge the understanding gap that exists for people with hearing aids, in noise and over distance, by wirelessly transmitting the speaker's voice or sound to the listener.
A basic Phonak Roger System is a transmitting microphone and a receiver. The choice is there for the individual to select what they require based on the make and model of their hearing aid, cochlear implant or Bone Attached Hearing Aid (BAHA). You do not need to be a wearer of Phonak hearing aids to use the Roger System but it will still depend on the make and model of your hearing aids whether you can buy Roger products.
