The new Phonak Roger Table Mic II is a wireless transmitting microphone designed for people who take part in meetings. With Phonak's innovative MultiBeam Technology it selects the person who’s talking and switches automatically between the meeting participants. The user has added control as the Remote allows the microphone to be muted and unmuted and the listening area increased or decreased. Several Roger Table Mic IIs can be connected creating a multi-talker network, making it ideal for large meetings and variable configurations of meeting rooms.
Roger Table Mic II with its Remote Control is light, very portable and very easy to use. Fully charged the battery will last for 16 hours more than enough for a full working day.
The MultiBeam Technology utilises multiple microphones with beams created in six directions to cover 360°. The signal-to-noise ratio for all six direction is calculated and the beam with the best clarity is automatically selected. This helps to provide good understanding of speech in group conversations such as in noisy restaurants or family gatherings.

The Table Mic II can be used with any of the personal Roger Receivers. If you wear Phonak hearing aids the choice of receiver or receivers will depend on the model of your hearing aid. If you wear other manufacturer's hearing aids you can still use the Roger Table Mic II but the choice of receiver will be dependant on the make and model of your hearing aid and limited to the Roger X or MyLink. People who have a Cochlear Implants also have options as Phonak designed the Roger 17 for use with Advanced Bionics Naida Q70 and Q90, Roger 20 for the Cochlear Nucleus 7 and Roger 21 for use with the ME-DEL Sonnet Processor.
The Roger technology enables up to ten microphones to be networked together. This includes Roger Select, Roger Pen, Roger EasyPen and Roger Clip-on-Mic.
