The Comfort Duett with Headphones has good quality features providing assitive listening for people who are hard of hearing requiring some amplification. It amplifies sound picked up from its own internal microphone and can also amplify a variety of sound sources like TV, radio, telephone. There is also a built in coil to listen to induction loops when out socialising or at places of worship etc. There is an adjustable balance control to compensate for differences in hearing between left and right ears. It is available with a neckloop for hearing aid wearers with a "T" (Loop) setting and earphones for people who hard of hearing but dislike covering their ears with headphones.
The Duett is a small, stylish, lightweight (56g) and ergonomically designed listening product. The unit is easy to use with accessible ON/OFF, T (loop) and microphone options with the larger + and - volume control buttons all on the front face. There is internal settings that allows a maximum volume to be set, the tone to be adjusted and balance.
Two AAA rechargeable batteries power the unit and it is supplied with a charger making it ideal for anyone who has manual dexterity issues and may struggle to change batteries. The battery symbol on the front indicates the battery status: active, low battery, charging in progress, charging complete and defective or wrong battery type.
